Kathryn Stout’s teaching and consulting experience includes both regular and special needs education for kids of all ages. She works with homeschooling families as well as with parents concerned about their children’s public or private school experiences.
Consultations may include:
- An informal evaluation targeting strengths and weaknesses.
- Recommendations of goals and priorities.
- Suggestions for teaching strategies most appropriate for your situation, including ideas to increase your child’s motivation and ability to do some work independently.
- Lists of resources helpful for your unique situation.
- Making adjustments for special needs during high school. (If you are interested in ongoing help for high school, including transcripts, you may enroll in Academy Adonai.)
Samples of work or copies of speech evaluations, psychological testing, standardized test results, or any other written information that would prove helpful can be brought to meetings or sent by fax, email, or “snail mail.”
